This Privacy Policy explains how the HeyGen Audio Downloader Chrome extension ("the Extension") collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the Extension, you agree to the terms described below.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 User Registration Data

When you first open the Extension, you provide:

Name � the display name you enter voluntarily
Device type � automatically detected (e.g. "Chrome on Windows")
User ID � a randomly generated identifier (e.g. fsmb_abc123...)
Registration date/time

1.2 Usage Data

Audio minutes used � how many minutes of audio you have downloaded
IP address � logged at verification time for security purposes

1.3 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored only on your device using Chrome's local storage API and is never sent to our servers:

Scanned audio file URLs and list
Download history
File name preferences
Cached quota information

2. How We Use Your Information

To verify your access and check your subscription status
To enforce usage limits (audio minutes quota) assigned by the administrator
To manage user accounts and expiry dates
To prevent unauthorized use of the Extension

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

Registration and usage data is stored in a JSON file on our server hosted at fsmb616.com. Access to this data is protected by an admin password. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no internet transmission is 100% secure.

4. Permissions Used

activeTab � to detect if HeyGen is open in the current tab
tabs � to find HeyGen tabs across browser windows
storage � to save your audio list, history, and quota locally
downloads � to save audio files to your computer
sidePanel � to display the extension as a persistent side panel
host_permissions (heygen.com) � to scan audio from HeyGen pages
host_permissions (fsmb616.com) � to verify user access and quota

5. Third-Party Services

This Extension interacts with:

HeyGen (heygen.com) � to detect and download audio files you have generated
Our verification server (fsmb616.com) � to manage access control

We are not affiliated with HeyGen. Use of HeyGen is subject to their own Terms of Service.

6. Data Retention

Your registration data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data by contacting the administrator. Locally stored data can be cleared at any time by removing the Extension from Chrome.

7. Children's Privacy

This Extension is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Extension constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
